ABSTRACT:
Being a new nurse one may not have encounter a rapid response or when to call for one. A rapid response team is a team of medical providers that is summon to a patient bedside when the patient demonstrates signs of imminent deterioration to prevent transferring to an intensive care unit, cardiac arrest, or death.
A rapid response team can, but is not limited to having:
-Critical Care Nurse
-Respiratory Therapist
-Physician
