Dallas Chapter, Texas Academy of Family Physicians
Research Poster Contest
Deadline: April 19th
Judging Starts: April 23rd
This is the 10th year that the Dallas Chapter, Texas Academy of Family Physicians has hosted a research poster meeting. We have invited Family Medicine Residents and medical students to present a poster on a scholarly topic that covers either completed research or "work in progress". The purpose is to provide a platform for residents and medical students, interested peers, academic faculty and community physicians to share and exchange ideas. Besides sponsoring this event the Chapter will provide monetary awards for posters that are judged to be the top two in each of 2 categories (residents and medical students) of the competition ($500, and $250 respectively).
The posters will be judged by the chapter members and the 1st and 2nd place awards will be announced at the virtual meeting on 4/28.
Criteria for the judging will include: innovation, relevance to medical practice, eye appeal, and importance of the topic.
