ABSTRACT
East 5 PM&R's previous performance in the Hand Hygiene quality metric was less than the University benchmark of 93%. Hand hygiene is the most important infection prevention strategy to reduce the risk of hospital-acquired infections. Achieving excellent performance is even more vital during this time of the COVID-1 pandemic.
